Garden Buds is a weekly, environmental education program during Fayetteville school district’s summer vacation from June to August for elementary aged students. It will take place each Wednesday at the Botanical Garden near the education cottage at 9:30 a.m. and lasts for one hour (during the Little Sprouts program). The program aims at teaching children science and sustainability through outdoor education and activities. Also, the lessons develop in them a deepening appreciation for the natural world and a desire to care for it as well as the knowledge to actively do so. Join us in June of 2017!
The Garden Buds schedule will be similar (but not always the same) as the Little Sprouts schedule during the summer months.
