A New Milestone for the Garden
Announcing Our Endowment & Capital Reserve Fund
BGO has established an organizational endowment and a dedicated capital reserve fund to protect our mission.
The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks is celebrating a new milestone and we’re proud to share it with you. The endowment and capital reserve fund were announced at the 2026 Autumn Gala on October 23.
How These Funds Work

Our Endowment
Our endowment is a permanent fund. Gifts are invested for the long term, and the fund’s earnings help support the Garden each year.
Today it holds
$125,000

Our Capital Reserve Fund
Our capital reserve fund is a safety net. It covers large, unexpected costs, keeping the Garden’s annual budget on track.
Today it holds
$25,000
Who Manages Them
After a careful review, the Garden’s Finance Committee has selected Arvest Wealth Management to manage both funds. Our Board will oversee each fund using a written investment policy.
The Garden's Greatest Needs
The endowment and capital reserve funds will grow steadily over time. Our annual fund supports the Garden’s greatest needs in our day-to-day work. Both are vital.
When you give to the endowment, your gift keeps working for the Garden year after year. When you give to the annual fund, you help care for the Garden today.
Every gift makes a difference.
