Donations
The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks is the result of the generous financial support of donors like you.
The Garden’s Greatest Needs
With a contribution to the Greatest Needs Fund, you give the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks the ability to direct your donation where it is needed most! Your gift will help us to continue the important work of our mission to provide education, environmental awareness, and unique nature experiences for the Northwest Arkansas community.
Butterfly House
Contribute to the upkeep of Arkansas’s only butterfly house!
The Karen Rose Butterfly House has quickly become a favorite of BGO members, a must-see for visitors to the garden, and a regional amenity for the greater Northwest Arkansas area, especially when it comes to education! The Butterfly House enables BGO to share the wonder of metamorphosis with guests of the Garden, inspire guests to plant their own host and nectar plants that will sustain native butterflies, and teach about the habitat needed to increase declining butterfly populations. Inside the Butterfly House, you can often spot each stage of a butterfly’s life cycle: egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, and adult butterfly.
The Butterfly House was built in 2011 with only a 10-year lifespan. Now in its 13th year, this Northwest Arkansas treasure is in need of some upkeep, repairs, and revitalization!

Feed a Bird
The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks is pleased to partner with Wild Birds Unlimited to support songbird populations at the Garden! This partnership in 2025 is to maintain a sustainable bird feeder station, increase bird activity, and provide valuable ornithology education! Through this collaboration, WBU will provide monthly bird seed for BGO’s bird feeder station, BGO will feature a “Bird of the Month” segment in our newsletters, and WBU will lead an educational class on ornithology at BGO, followed by a bird walk. This partnership will be funded through our “Feed a Bird” donation opportunity. We are excited to see the benefits of this collaboration in our local environment and community!
Contributions to the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks are tax-deductible and support our mission.
