We are pleased to announce that BGO is underwriting a limited number of needs-based scholarships for our Little Sprouts program for 2025! These scholarships, both full and partial, will be made on a case-by-case basis. The application deadline is Tuesday, April 1st, 2025, and scholarships will be awarded by Wednesday, April 30th, 2025. BGO is committed to providing accessibility.
Little Sprouts is a weekly botanically-themed program for children aged 2 to 5. Each week we read stories, sing songs, and do fun nature crafts & activities. Whether we are learning about how bees are more helpful than harmful, or exploring the garden with handmade binoculars, the children leave the Garden with a real appreciation for the world around them and a new desire to protect it.
Not only does our program serve the little ones in attendance, but also the adults who bring them. Each week we make an effort to encourage families to take the knowledge and skills they have gained from our programs and put them to use within their own homes. This is also a great way to get to know other families in the area!
