Little Sprouts is a weekly botanically-themed program for preschoolers. Each week we read stories, sing songs, and do fun nature crafts & activities. Whether we are learning about how bees are more helpful than harmful, or exploring the garden with handmade binoculars, the children leave the Garden with a real appreciation for the world around them and a new desire to protect it.
Not only does our program serve the little ones in attendance, but also the adults who bring them. Each week we make an effort to encourage families to take the knowledge and skills they have gained from our programs and put them to use within their own homes. This is also a great way to get to know other families in the area!

Garden Buds is a weekly environmental education program designed specifically for elementary-aged students during the area school district’s summer vacation. Held every Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Education Cottage, situated at the back of the Garden, this program coincides with the first Little Sprouts session. Garden Buds introduces children to the natural world, fostering a sense of wonder and curiosity about their environment. The curriculum is designed to instill a sense of stewardship for the natural world, helping children develop a lasting appreciation and love for the outdoors. Through hands-on learning and engaging activities, Garden Buds provides valuable educational experiences that promote environmental awareness and responsibility.
